Pier
Cuban-American artist Jorge Pardo works at the intersection between art, design, and architecture. For the third Skulptur-Projekte in 1997, he designed a roughly 40-meter-long pier that leads out onto the Aasee and ends at a hexagonal platform with a hexagonal pavilion.
The structure is made out of wood and designed in a modern formal language, offering visitors a natural haven and unusual meeting place with views of the city and the lake.
