A peculiar object rests on top: although it is composed of geometric prism-shaped surfaces, the structure slumped over half of the horizontal beam is essentially an amorphous blob. To one passerby it may look like a chewed piece of gum, to someone else, a legless ant \u2013 there are countless possible associations, but the sculpture remains indefinable and alien.<br \/>\nGereon Krebber believes that art shouldn&#8217;t blend in to public space in a decorative, unambiguous, and easily consumable way; instead, it should primarily attract attention, facilitate a gradual approach, and stimulate discussion. The <em>Blobster<\/em> creates this opportunity \u2013 especially because of its many possible interpretations.<\/p>\n<p>Additional information:
